NORMAL METHOD OF RAISING FUNDS FOR FESTIVAL
Indie Fest USA like most special events counts on sponsorship dollars to put on their annual International Film Festival. Although the Festival has been fortunate that they were able to lock in several of these Sponsors, before the economy collapsed. Although we have these dollars to work with, it ties our hands on how much we can grow each year.In 2010 when the economy collapsed Indie Fest USA stayed true to their commitment to the great Independent Filmmakers as well as Independent Musical Artists and has continued to offer a platform for these great Artists to showcase their hard work.
WHEN NORMAL METHOD OF RAISING OPERATING CAPITAL WORKS!
The funds are then put into the working budget which allows for:
- Rent the needed Venues and Equipment for screening the great International Films that are submitted for consideration for Indie Fest USA.
- Pay for a panel of Industry Professionals to select the films from the hundreds submitted for consideration.
- Pay for the panel to then judge the Officially Selected films
- Pay salaries for essential planning and development personnel
- Pay for Print, and Video advertising, as well as other marketing to bring awareness about the festival.
- Pay for Parties, Socials, Seminars, Awards, and other events to bring excitement and draw to bring the fans to the show, giving them the opportunity to meet these great filmmakers, actors, actresses, music artists & Bands, and celebrities.
We found a way that the funds can be raised even though the Sponsorship dollars are just beginning to trickle back in. This is where you the fans of Independent Arts can help to continue brining this great festival to Historic Main Street in Garden Grove, CA.
HOW YOU THE FANS OF THE INDEPENDENT ARTS CAN HELP
Another way that you can help us is to pass the word, send a copy of this newsletter on to your friends and families and ask them to do the same.
Another way that you can assist us is to go to our online ticket sales and purchase your dinner and movie packages.

WHAT INDIE FEST USA WILL DO WITH THESE FUNDS
Indie Fest USA will use your contributions raised on our fundraiser site on Indiegogo.com; exactly how we would if we raised it in the normal ways.- Payroll for three or four employees. $3,125.00
- Hotel Rooms for attending Celebrity $2,750.00
- Morning Social Donut & Coffee Fund $0.500.00
- Upgrade staging, lighting & equipment $3,750.00
- Upgrade Sound system and projection $3,750.00
- Bring in seating for our outdoor staging area $2,250.00
- Upgrade the awards $2,350.00
- Increase décor for opening night & award show $3,250.00
- Create a miscellaneous Expense Fund $6,175.00
